Senior Structural Design Engineer

The Role

You will lead structural design projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors. This is a hands on role with responsibility from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and prepare calculations/specifications for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and compliance with Irish Building Regulations and Eurocodes
• Conduct site visits and attend meetings
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with clients, architects, and contractors

Requirements

• 5-10 years' experience in a consulting engineering environment (Ireland preferred)
• Level 8/9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Chartered Engineer (CENG) with Engineers Ireland, or close to qualification
• Proficient in design software (e.g. Tekla, Robot, SCIA) and Revit/BIM
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
