Senior Store Assistant - Keyholder

20 hours per week.
Fixed-term contract until March 2027.
Must live locally and be able to commute to the store.
Store open 7 AM - 8 PM; must manage early starts and late finishes.
What you'll do- Provide outstanding customer service, chatting with customers, asking the right questions and helping them find the right solutions.
- Be proactive by selling Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts and signing customers up.
- Be hands on: handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, prepare orders and stock shelves.
- Take accountability for colleagues: support, assign tasks, and provide supervisory cover when needed.
- Keyholder duties: open and close the store, assign daily tasks to the team and supervise when required.
- Work in a fast paced environment, coping with varying temperatures during winter and summer.
- Have some experience as a key holder or supervising team members (retail experience is not essential).
- A friendly, energetic, enthusiastic personality.
- Reliability: punctual, flexible, committed and supportive to customers and the team.
- Accountability: previous experience taking charge in a role and stepping up when needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer and word processing skills.
- Experience as a key holder or supervisor preferred.
