Job Description
Product Analyst - Asset Servicing (Trustee & Depositary Team)

Location: Manchester

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Operations to support the delivery of future state capabilities and ongoing enhancements within the Trustee & Depositary business.
  • Support the Product Owner in day to day product ownership activities, including writing and refining user stories, backlog refinement, prioritisation support, and providing clarity to the Scrum team to enable effective delivery.
  • Contribute to defining product requirements by gathering, analysing, and synthesising input from stakeholders, delivery teams, and data sources.
  • Monitor business, operational, and product trends to provide insights that inform product decisions and prioritisation.
  • Track and analyse key delivery and performance indicators to assess progress and identify opportunities to improve product outcomes and ways of working.
  • Assist in preparing clear, concise materials (e.g. updates, reports, presentations) that communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owner and Analyst colleagues to support joined up delivery across teams, including awareness of dependencies and sequencing considerations.
  • Bring curiosity and energy to the team, actively looking for better ways to work and contributing ideas on how tools, automation, and AI could improve delivery effectiveness.
  • Passion for changing the status quo and contributing to meaningful, large scale transformation through product led delivery.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a product led or agile delivery environment, with exposure to cross functional collaboration and iterative delivery practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret information from multiple sources to support product and delivery decisions.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics in a structured, accessible way to a range of stakeholders.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced, evolving environment.
  • A practical problem solving mindset, with the ability to break down complex issues and contribute to workable solutions at pace.
  • Curiosity about how tools and AI can be used responsibly to improve productivity, delivery quality, and ways of working.
  • An interest in financial services, with an awareness of custody, depositary, or fund oversight activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related discipline.
