  • Manage Qualification Documentation: Design, write, review and execute qualification protocols and reports for manufacturing equipment and processes, ensuring everything aligns with standard site practices.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with diverse teams-including operations, quality and regulatory partners-using continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean Six Sigma) to troubleshoot and streamline operations.
  • Uphold Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strong "Safety First, Quality Always" mindset. You will ensure all activities comply with global policies, regulatory standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices, while actively participating in internal and external regulatory audits.

What skills you will need: In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of technical operations experience in commercial-scale drug substance manufacturing of biological molecules, including hands-on experience with upstream cell culture and/or downstream purification.
  • Education: A degree in Pharmaceutical, Biological or Chemical Engineering or Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of upstream or downstream purification processes, process control strategies, and regulatory standards. Experience with process monitoring, automation systems, and data systems in a regulated environment is highly valued.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: A proven track record of leading technical projects, managing change, and solving complex problems. You are an encouraging teammate who enjoys coaching others, sharing knowledge, and building inclusive relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to explain complex biological processes clearly to diverse teams.
