Salary & Hours

£43,000 - £45,000 basic salary (dependent on experience) + paid overtime (1.5 for 45 hour contract). Working pattern: 4 days on, 3 days off, Sundays closed.

Responsibilities

The Senior Sous Chef will oversee all areas of events and production, working within a full time team of four chefs and additional support chefs on busy functions. Duties include:

  • Ensuring high quality fine dining service at events from formal lunches and dinners to canapes, bowl food functions and buffets.
  • Managing and leading kitchen staff during busy events.
  • Co ordinating with front of house and logistics teams to deliver seamless service.
  • Maintaining standards of food safety, hygiene and quality.
Qualifications
  • Senior Sous Chef or equivalent experience with high end event work.
  • Proven experience in events, conferencing and banqueting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage kitchen teams on large, busy events.
  • Working in a 45 hour contract environment with Overtime available.
Additional Information

Single site role based in Central London. Functions range from 30 to 160 guests. Only chefs currently residing in the UK with the right to work can apply.
