Role

Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant - technical lead during the sales process, responsible for demonstrating Appian's platform to prospective clients and showcasing business value.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account Executives to meet sales goals across large accounts in the UK and Ireland (non FSI and Public Sector).
• Manage all technical aspects of a sales cycle, from initial meetings to final presentations.
• Collaborate with the AE to complete comprehensive discovery and fully understand the client's business needs.
• Write and organize technical responses for RFPs and formal proposals.
• Build and present proof of concept applications that solve specific customer problems.
• Explain technical details and business benefits to executives and stakeholders.
• Represent Appian at industry events, conferences, and seminars.
• Build long term relationships with technical staff at target accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain resources or information needed to close a deal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer for enterprise software.
• Hands on technical background (Software Engineer or Technical Consultant).
• Strong partner mindset with the sales team, sharing equal responsibility for account planning and revenue targets.
• Ability to answer deep functional questions and discuss production environments, APIs, application servers, and databases.
• Experience working with large accounts using a value selling approach.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: £50,000-£125,000 GBP. Compensation is dependent on experience, qualifications, and market conditions. A discretionary bonus may be awarded based on performance.
