Central London £85,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits 2 days in the office This is a chance to step into a senior, hands on engineering role where you can influence how complex, revenue critical platforms are designed and built. You will play a key part in shaping modern digital products, working closely with experienced leaders and helping to raise engineering standards across the team. The Company They are a well established media and advertising organisation operating at scale across the UK and Europe. The business builds and runs digital platforms that support large, data driven advertising campaigns for a wide range of partners. With significant investment in technology and a growing engineering function, they are focused on modernising their platforms and improving how products are delivered and scaled. The Role

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend and frontend systems that support internal products used to manage advertising campaigns end to end
• Act as a senior technical voice within the team, guiding design decisions and challenging the "why" behind solutions
• Coach and support a small group of developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaborative problem solving
• Work closely with product, architecture, and UX to ensure systems are well thought through and fit for purpose
• Contribute to improving system architecture, performance, and long term maintainability
• Take ownership of how problems are approached, prioritised, and solved, rather than simply delivering tasks

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience building production ready software in a modern engineering environment
• Backend experience with Node.js and familiarity with Python, particularly in data or AI related contexts
• Frontend experience with React and exposure to Next.js
• Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS, with an understanding of scalable architectures
• Confidence designing systems and thinking through trade offs, priorities, and long term impact
• A collaborative, proactive mindset with the ability to lead by example and influence others technically
