Senior Social Worker - Referral and Assessment

We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner - Referral and Assessment within the Social Care industry in Hammersmith and Fulham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. The Senior Practitioner - Referral and Assessment vacancy in Hammersmith and Fulham will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.Responsibilities include:

• Undertaking initial investigations
• Undertaking core investigations
• Operating under the remit of the Children's Act, 1989
• Managing a high caseload
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files

• Contributing to the duty rota

• Supporting junior members of the team

Experience preferred:

• Post qualifying experience of working as a Senior Practitioner - Referral and Assessment within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• HCPC Registration
• 4 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
• Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
