Thurlow Nunn, a long-established and family-owned automotive retailer, is looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Senior Service Advisor to join our busy Aftersales team. Representing MG, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional service experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
About the RoleAs a Senior Service Advisor, you will be the face of our service department, responsible for guiding customers through the aftersales process with professionalism and efficiency. You will support the Aftersales Manager, help mentor junior advisors, and ensure our customers receive industry-leading care.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for service customers, delivering outstanding service at all times
- Manage customer bookings, workload planning and workshop capacity
- Provide expert advice on repairs, maintenance and service options
- Prepare accurate quotations and obtain customer authorisations
- Liaise with technicians to ensure clear communication of work required
- Keep customers fully updated throughout their service journey
- Review vehicle health checks and upsell value-added products where appropriate
- Handle escalated queries and support the Aftersales Manager in daily operations
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance and customer satisfaction
- Mentor and support junior Service Advisors as needed
We're looking for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment and brings energy and professionalism to the role.
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, ideally at senior or supervisory level
- Strong knowledge of the automotive industry (experience with MG brand is advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
- A proactive approach, with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload
- A positive, professional and customer-centric attitude
- A full UK driving licence

Hours- Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00am to 1.00pm on a rota
