Purpose of the role: to enable secure by design practices, supporting the bank's change programmes, and design and implement secure systems and architecture across security domains including data security, security risk management, asset security, security architecture and engineering (incl. cloud security), communications and networks, security operations, software development, security assurance testing, and identity and access management (IAM).
Accountabilities- Act as an information security authority to business and technology clients.
- Influence information security roadmaps and solutions for products, channels, programmes and projects.
- Proactively deliver assignments, including initiating client contact, analysing objectives, identifying information security responses and requirements, planning, delivery management, and obtaining user acceptance and sign-off for CSO outputs.
- Ensure end-to-end information security integrity and quality of solutions and product releases.
- Own the delivery of Security Solutions services to customers, providing timely outputs to stakeholders.
- Undertake and facilitate information and information security assessments/workshops for solutions during development phases, identifying security weaknesses and proposing solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure residual risks are adequately mitigated to meet the business risk appetite.
- Record client interactions timely and accurately using appropriate systems.
- Support the wider delivery and success of Security Solutions Consultancy services.
- Advise key stakeholders and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks in support of control and governance, demonstrating leadership and accountability for risk management and stronger controls.
- Demonstrate understanding of organisational functions to contribute to business goals.
- Collaborate with other areas of work to stay aligned with business activity and strategy.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing complex alternatives.
- Apply extensive research outcomes to problem solving; develop innovative solutions as needed.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives using influencing and negotiation skills.
