- Provide effective, efficient, and innovative services to claimants, including the most vulnerable in society
- Improve service experiences while maximizing value for money for the taxpayer
- Interact with senior stakeholders across departments
- Reach and influence a wide range of people across larger teams and communities
- Research and apply innovative security architecture solutions to new or existing problems, justifying and communicating design decisions
- Develop vision, principles, and strategy for security architecture for specific projects or technologies
- Assess subtle security needs
- Understand the impact of decisions, balancing requirements, and choosing between approaches
- Produce particular patterns and support quality assurance
- Serve as the point of escalation for lower-grade architects
- Lead the technical design of systems and services
- Possess active SC Clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo checks (preference may be given to candidates with active security clearance due to the urgent nature of the role)
- Demonstrate security architecture experience
- Experience working with complex, large-scale microservice infrastructure
- AWS cloud experience
- Experience working with database applications such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Experience working with systems that encrypt data
Please note that this role can only be worked within the UK and not overseas.

We also guarantee to interview veterans or spouses/partners of military personnel who meet all criteria. In exceptional circumstances, we may require holding active security clearance during shortlisting.
