This is a chance to join a specialist UK payments provider operating in a tightly defined niche where competition is limited and demand is strong. The business works with business across the UK, helping them modernise how clients pay for services through sector specific payment technology. With increasing pressure to improve cashflow, client experience, and payment flexibility, the product is both relevant and highly saleable. The company is well established, profitable, and scaling, and now looking to add an experienced new business salesperson to drive further growth.
The RoleYou'll focus on winning new clients across the UK, combining self generated opportunities with a steady flow of warm inbound and partner led leads. This is a consultative sale, engaging directly with business owners, managers, and senior decision makers to understand their commercial challenges and position a tailored payments solution. You'll own the full sales cycle from first conversation through to close supported by marketing, onboarding, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business acquisition within UK (Europe to follow)
- Manage a pipeline of self sourced and warm inbound opportunities
- Run structured, consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders
- Present and articulate a specialist payment proposition clearly and credibly
- Consistently convert opportunities into long term client relationships
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting via CRM
- Proven B2B sales experience in a new business / hunter led role
- Comfortable selling a solution rather than a commodity
- Strong commercial instincts and confidence dealing with senior decision makers
- Self motivated, organised, and able to manage a full sales cycle independently
- Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated services
- £50,000 - £60,000 base salary
