About the role:
- Reporting to the Head of Retail Strategy & Excellence, this role leads the Retail 'digital first' strategy within the 5-year Retail plan. It involves operational excellence and developing functionality through systems like EDGE, Power BI, GEM suite, The Retailer Hub, and The Retailer Training Centre.
- Ensure operational excellence of digital tools and systems, representing Retail in current and future digital developments such as AI and MER.
- Support the delivery of Single Retailer View (SRV), collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing SME input to the central and Customer and Retail Care Teams.
- Act as a bridge between the PMO, technology, and commercial teams, translating and refining their views and progress.
Our hybrid working model requires employees to work from the office 3 days per week, scheduled across Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing BAU and future processes for GEM Suite, Retail Training Centre, and Retailer Hub.
- Maintaining relationships with C.I, Sponge, and SGi, optimizing output and managing contracts.
- Developing and managing the annual roadmap and budget for the Retailer Hub and GEM Intelligence, ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule.
- Overseeing the RTC system improvements, including UX redesigns, aligned with digital-first goals.
Desired experience:
- Proven experience in developing digital capabilities, working with third-party or in-house teams.
- Ability to act as a conduit between technical and sales teams, representing business requirements for retail excellence.
- Knowledge of CRM, LMS, CMS, Power BI platforms is advantageous.
- Focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Enjoys solving complex problems, challenging norms, and fostering innovation.
Success metrics:
- Gaining leadership support for a comprehensive systems roadmap aligned with digital retail strategies.
- Increasing retailer engagement through the Retailer Hub and Portal.
- Successful transition and ongoing enhancement of retail reporting and tools.
- Complete systems evaluation and stakeholder relationship building to support retail strategy.
