Senior Research Engineer (RUST/Python/C++) Computer Architecture Contract 12 Months Dublin.

My client a leading global name in their respected industry are in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Research Engineer in Computer Architecture.

My clients Advanced Language Engineering (ADA) lab is committed to develop memory safe and concurrent system products. As part of this strategic goal, my client will explore advanced language features and disruptive approaches to accelerate Compute generally, and AI specifically. Depending on the use cases, however, there is a number of engineering trade-offs to bring competitiveness to the product line with innovation.My client is looking for an active Researcher to join us to tackle such challenges. You will provide technical leadership in System Architecture, Programming Languages & Compiler, and/or Software Engineering.

Successful candidates will be expected to Lead the design and development of PoCs for the next-generation memory safe and performant features of XPU accelerators to tackle real-world problems in mobile and compute systems. You will also Provide directions and guidance to the company's programming tool offerings in the area of Rust, Triton, Dynamo etc. Successful candidates will have experience with Rust or C++ and Python. It would be seen as an advantage if you had a PhD in the area of XPU (GPU, NPU, TPU) programming, Operating System/System Architecture, Programming Languages, Software Engineering. It would also be advantageous if you had experience of working with accelerator Kernel development. You will be World leading experts in the area of programming languages, deep knowledge of best practices, methods, approaches in XPU and extensive experience of architecting, designing, building a safe and efficient programming language, especially knows the following aspects inside out:GPU, TPU, NPU accelerators; High-performance language features and Compiler and high-performance library implementations.
