Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Freelance Location:IrelandContract:Freelance / ContractStart:Immediate / ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contractual management across allocated projects.
• Manage upstream contracts, notices, variations and commercial compliance.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Procure, negotiate and manage subcontract packages.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
• Prepare and submit monthly applications and supporting commercial documentation.
• Maintain variation, liability, risk and opportunity registers.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks while maximising opportunities.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers and delivery teams.
• Support commercial audits, governance and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as aSenior Quantity Surveyoron major construction or engineering projects.
• Strongsubcontract management and upstream contract administrationexperience.
• Excellent knowledge of variations, valuations, payment applications, forecasting and cost control.
• Strong contractual and commercial awareness.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Highly advantageous: M&E / Mechanical & Electrical experiencePharmaceutical / Life Sciences project experience
• Experience working on complex, high-value engineering or construction projects.
