Job Description
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in delivering commercial success across a high-value Electrical and Civils Framework.

- Take a leading role in the commercial management of a major Electrical and Civils Framework
- Optimise internal commercial processes to maximise value across high-volume schemes
- Identify and develop additional revenue opportunities through post-contract activities, including design and methodology improvements
- Support and oversee daily commercial activities, including pre- and post-contract work and cost management of labour, plant, and materials
- Maintain strong contractual control across estimating, cost analysis, and change management processes
- Produce and manage financial reporting, including Applications for Payment, invoices, forecasts, and cash flow
- Manage debt accounts and support revenue recovery through effective stakeholder engagement
- Work closely with operational, technical, estimating, and finance teams to ensure efficient delivery of projects
- Manage and develop team members, supporting the wider commercial function
- Attend site visits and meetings to support project delivery, quotations, and commercial decision-making
- Ensure all commercial activities contribute to safe delivery, customer satisfaction, and target profit margins
- Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, civils, or construction
- Proven knowledge and experience of NEC contracts and Framework Agreements
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to assess project profitability
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, and post-contract administration
- Ability to produce accurate reporting, forecasts, and financial analysis
- Confident managing and mentoring individuals or teams
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to identify improvements and drive change
- High attention to detail with strong time management capabilities
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and commercial reporting systems
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Working towards or motivated to achieve professional chartership
