The Role & Key Responsibilities of the Senior MRICS Quantity Surveyor Winchester

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be a key member of the team, managing the full project lifecycle from inception to completion on diverse developments.

  • Project Leadership: Taking the lead on varied projects including commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use schemes.
  • Strategic Cost Advice: Providing expert pre and post-contract cost management and advising clients closely with project management teams.
  • Contract Expertise: Applying a solid understanding and practical experience with JCT or NEC contracts.
  • Team Development: Mentoring and helping to guide junior quantity surveyors within the team.
Essential Requirements
  • PQS Experience: Strong background working in a PQS Professional Quantity Surveying Cost Consultancy environment is mandatory.
  • Chartered Status: MRICS Chartered Status is preferred, but we are absolutely open to considering talented senior-level candidates who are well advanced in their APC journey.
  • Education: A degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
  • Ambition: Proven desire to excel, progress to Associate level, and eventually take on a leadership role.
