We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our Energy sector projects, including a high-profile design and build project commencing in the new year.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Commercial Manager and take responsibility for commercial and financial management across your project. You will manage subcontractors, monitor costs, support accurate financial reporting and help ensure commercial success.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting.
  • Lead subcontractor procurement, commercial management, valuations, payments and final accounts.
  • Administer contracts, variations, claims and commercial agreements.
  • Identify commercial risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with clients, design teams, partners and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, financial and company requirements.
About You What you'll bring
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • 7+ years' relevant experience in civil engineering or commercial building construction, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or design-and-build projects.
  • Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills, including cost estimation and cost control.
  • Good knowledge of Main Contract Conditions and contract administration.
  • Experience with systems such as Candy Estimating System and IFS is desirable.
  • SCSI Chartered status or working towards Chartership is desirable, not essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full clean Irish/EU driving licence
  • Authorised to work in Ireland i.e. stamp 4 or critical skills visa
