Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

CSR is working with a leading Civil Engineering contractor seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The successful candidate will be involved in a new highway and infrastructure project, reporting to the Commercial Manager.
The role includes raising orders, detailed cost control, and recovery of value on the project. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts is essential.
Requirements:- Third level qualification (degree or similar)
- Previous experience in a Senior Commercial/QS role
- Experience across heavy Civils sectors such as Highways, Rail, or Marine projects
- Understanding of contract specifics and appropriate actions
- Skills in Cost Control, ensuring targets are achievable, monitoring progress, and forecasting
- Negotiation skills with confidence and clarity, structured argumentation, and persuasive presentation
- Problem Solving and Decision Making capabilities
