Residential Dublin (Cabra)

Hunter Savage is working with a well established Irish main contractor to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major residential project in Cabra, Dublin.

This is a site based role on a high profile housing development, offering long term security, strong commercial exposure, and a clear route toward Commercial Manager level for the right individual.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take full commercial responsibility for a live residential project, ensuring tight cost control, accurate reporting, and strong subcontractor management from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full commercial management of a residential development
• Preparation and management of subcontractor procurement packages
• Interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts
• Budget control, cost forecasting, and risk management
• Measurement, variations, and claims management
• Close collaboration with site and project management teams
• Supporting junior QSs where applicable

• Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent
• 6+ years' experience with a main contractor or developer
• Strong background in residential construction (apartments / housing)
• Proven ability to run a project commercially with minimal supervision
• Confident communicator with subcontractors and internal teams
• Ambitious and keen to progress to Commercial Manager level
