An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, delivering some of the UK's most significant and technically complex projects. Based in Liverpool, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to take ownership of major schemes and further develop their career within a high-performing cost management team.
The RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in leading and managing projects from inception to completion. You'll work across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education, research, industrial, and public realm developments - partnering with blue-chip clients, major sporting organisations, and innovative R&D leaders.
Responsibilities- Leading all aspects of cost management through all project stages
- Managing multiple large-scale projects and developing strong client relationships
- Preparing cost plans, feasibility studies, tender documents, and contract advice
- Managing tender processes, analysing returns, and advising on procurement routes
- Providing post-contract cost control and negotiating final accounts
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
You'll be a proactive, client-focused professional who thrives on delivering quality results and building strong relationships.
Requirements- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar RICS accredited course
- MRICS qualification
- Proven experience on complex, high value projects
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
