Senior Project Manager (Defence)

What you will be doing:

To lead the interface with the customer and manage successful delivery of allocated project/s in line with agreed scope, internal and customer costs, and schedule targets ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and requirements.

Note: Due to the environment, candidates must hold current SC security clearance.

Experience we are looking for:

Extensive experience within the Defence environment, alongside experience in the following accountabilities:

1. Lead the project team in all phases of the product / project lifecycle from mobilisation definition through design, manufacture, and in-service support, ensuring successful delivery in line with statutory, contractual, and company requirements.
2. Liaise with and manage subcontractors and suppliers, in conjunction with procurement, to ensure relevant standards are met and maintained, and deliverables are successfully achieved.
3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, clarify issues, and ensure risks and opportunities are identified and managed.
4. Work with the customer to ensure dependencies are met, communicate project issues, provide accurate and timely reports, and ensure deliverables are met in line with acceptance methods to enable payment.
5. Develop, implement, monitor, and report on the progress of allocated projects, including governance, technical, schedule, cost, risk, and resource aspects, to keep stakeholders informed.
