Senior Project Manager

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager on a contracting basis, the role can be worked Outside of IR35, the role will be based within the Southampton area and will be working within the water sector. The client is offering a negotiable day rate that will be commensurate with the candidates experience.

Responsibilities

During the role you will be responsible for Managing, Supervising, training and mentoring the site team which will enable them to optimise their work contributions. You will also be responsible for developing programmes and forecasting budgets, assess actual programme and productivity achieved and weekly reviews, taking action where appropriate. The right candidate will ensure that all inspections, test plans, risk assessments and method statements for the control of the work are reviewed and approved.

Qualifications

The client will be looking for candidates that have a background with Civil Engineering whether that be at Degree level or a HND in Civil Engineering, as long as the candidates have a good understanding of Engineering Principals. The client is also looking for a good understanding of Construction contract laws and forms of contract through experience and formal training as well as an extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
