About the Opportunity

At Jacobs, we're shaping the future of transportation across Ireland - and we're looking for Project Managers and Senior Project Managers who want to be part of something meaningful.

Our Transportation team has built an enviable reputation across both Roads and Rail, delivering projects that not only meet today's infrastructure demands, but actively contribute to a more sustainable, climate resilient future.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the delivery of major road and rail projects across Ireland
  • Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and delivery plans
  • Creating a proactive environment for risk identification, mitigation and innovation
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients-communicating progress, challenges and solutions clearly
  • Promoting a strong safety first culture across all project activities
  • Ensuring successful outcomes aligned to programme, cost and quality objectives
Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering transport infrastructure projects (Roads, Rail or Aviation)
  • A degree in engineering, construction or related discipline
  • Chartered status (or working towards) with a relevant institution
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and delivery in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience with TII / NTA / DoT processes, Irish planning legislation, and Public Works Contracts is highly desirable
  • Experience working with NEC or other contract frameworks
  • Additional experience as an expert witness or at Oral Hearings would be an advantage
