Job Opportunity: Senior Project Manager

Our client, an established organization near Peterborough, is looking to introduce improved ways of working and is offering hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project success
4. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
5. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders
6. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
7. Mentor and support other project managers and team members
8. Foster a positive and productive work environment
9. Establish and manage the PMO, defining processes, standards, and best practices
10. Align the PMO with organizational goals and drive project management excellence

The role requires proven experience in setting up governance structures, defining standards, and creating processes for project prioritization, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Salary: £55,000 plus bonus
