We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will work across major projects that deliver meaningful change. You'll collaborate with teams, customers, and technical specialists to lead delivery across a diverse project portfolio. This role offers the chance to be at the centre of strategic initiatives within the Defence and National Security space.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define project requirements and gain formal agreement from key stakeholders and governance boards
2. Lead project delivery from initiation through to transition and handover to service operations
3. Manage end-to-end project delivery in collaboration with both customer and internal business teams
4. Operate within established project management methodologies and ensure compliance with agreed processes
5. Oversee project reporting through KPIs, highlight reports, and stage assessments
6. Lead risk and issue management, ensuring contingency and mitigation plans are in place and approved
7. Maintain rigorous financial tracking across multiple projects and ensure accurate forecasting
8. Ensure project activities are reflected in profit and loss impact, with clear governance oversight
9. Achieve timely milestone sign-offs and support finance teams in triggering invoicing milestones
10. Support and guide team members, driving progress through clear communication and structured reporting
11. Apply formal review and assurance practices to validate delivery outcomes

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience delivering Transition and Transformation projects, preferably in Defence or National Security sectors
2. Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders
3. A structured, disciplined approach to project delivery, with the ability to adapt to complex environments
4. Deep understanding of financial governance, profit & loss, risk management, and formal delivery assurance
5. Strong capability in managing cross-functional teams and bringing structure to high-pressure situations
6. Hands-on experience with reporting tools and project management systems
