We need you to: Lead delivery of multiple projects within a pioneering nuclear programme, acting as the key interface between Generic Product Design (GPD) and GBE-N project delivery. Represent programme delivery interests, ensuring generic design activity supports successful contract outcomes. Support change control discussions and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the GPD organisation. Build credibility and influence at all levels, winning support through strong relationships and indirect influence. Manage a team of 2-4 project managers, fostering a positive, productive environment and supporting their development. Ensure compliance with project management processes, drive improvements, and document lessons learned. Champion diversity, inclusion, and "above the line" behaviours, role modelling our values and beliefs. What you bring Extensive experience delivering complex projects under NEC contracts (infrastructure/nuclear desirable, but not essential). Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially in environments with competing priorities. Hands-on experience managing multiple packages of work, complex situations, and key stakeholders. Technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices; familiarity with project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, ARM, SAP, Excel, Power BI, Power Apps). Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex topics and engage a wide range of stakeholders. Leadership, coaching, and organisational skills; resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments. Engineering degree or equivalent experience; project management certification (APM PMQ or similar) preferred. Working Pattern & Flexibility Hybrid working supported; Derby is preferred due to stakeholder location, but Manchester and Warrington are also options. Flexible hours and part-time options available to support work-life balance.
