Senior Project Engineer

Alexander Steele continue to work in partnership with one of the worlds most recognisable food brands to support them with a business critical search for a Senior Project Engineer that will focus on Robotics & Automation for the UK & I operations. Salary up to £75k, plus car, 25% Bonus, Pension Private Healthcare and share options.

The Role:

These projects will modernise and future proof our partners manufacturing, logistics, storage and distribution infrastructure. In this role you will lead projects, ensure they are delivered on time, in budget, to the highest of standards. You'll will partner & lead a dynamic team of engineers, and a variety of experts in design & technical and will also coordinate all contractors, essentially being the glue between all of the necessary stakeholders. You will be the subject matter expert on all things Robotics & Automation with a strategic mindset, dynamic & influential in ensuring ROI on all delivered projects.

This role will be field based but if you live anywhere between the Midlands and Manchester you will be well placed for this opportunity with all travel fully expensed. This role will report to the Director of Engineering & Projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Ideally you will be a fully qualified Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years Engineering Project Management experience within UK FMCG Manufacturing.
• Extensive experience within Automation & Robotics project delivery
• Prince 2
• NEBOSH & IOSH will be desirable
