Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical services design for projects, ensuring high standards are met.
  • Develop and specify electrical building services for diverse sectors.
  • Prepare detailed schematics, reports, and technical documents.
  • Implement and maintain electrical design standards.
  • Mentor and support junior engineering staff for professional growth.
  • Produce and oversee tender packages; monitor quality on-site through project completion.
  • Conduct tender reviews and prepare analytical recommendations.
  • Define project scope with clients and design teams.
  • Create project budgets and deliver client-facing reports.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Use Microsoft Office and design tools such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit confidently.
Must-have Requirements
  • Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status advantageous).
  • 10+ years' experience as a Senior Engineer.
  • Proven track record in electrical building services design for Data Centres.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and recognised standards (ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, EN).
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit.
  • Strong leadership skills managing projects from concept to completion.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Chartered Engineer accreditation.
  • Previous team leadership experience in consultancy environments.
