Project Controls Manager
BPSS to start, SC Clearance eligibility required
Hybrid working in Bristol - flexible working as and when project requires
£75,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
Our market-leading client require a Senior Project Control Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project and Programme Managers, key stakeholders, wider functional teams, suppliers and customer to ensure the on-going development of Project Controls capability.
- Lead a team of Project Controls professionals and provide regular management reporting both internal and external to the project.
- Produce, maintain and have ownership performance measurement baseline.
- Establish a reliable and accurate EVM (Earned Value Management) system, and on-going generation/interrogation of earned value reports.
- Gather independent evidence to provide information of how likely the project will achieve the success criteria.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Experience in project controls on complex and major projects and programmes
- Highly experienced working in high-paced, delivery environments e.g. private companies, defence, oil & gas, water/highways, transportation industries
- Experience in working with common project controls toolsets such as MSP, Primavera P6, RiskHive and ERP/SAP Systems.
- Knowledge of project controls approaches - planning, scheduling, cost, risk, performance, change management.
- Experience leading, training and developing a team of project controls specialists
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams including external suppliers, key stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications Required:
- APM (Association for Project Management), PMQ (Project Management Qualification) or equivalent.
