Senior Production Operator - Athenry - Weekend Shift

Position Overview

Senior Production Operator (MA3) - Start Date: August 2026. Reports to Production Supervisor. Shift: 12 hour, 4 on/3 off - 3 on/4 off pattern, Friday to Sunday + alternate Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic or semi automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment.
• Carry out routine manual tasks such as handling components, loading materials, and supporting assembly processes.
• Perform material handling, inspections, quality checks, and data entry.
• Recognised as a subject matter expert in key areas.
• Train new associates and support cross training programmes.
• Support line leads and supervisors with communication, updates, and coaching.
• Ensure compliance to quality procedures; flag any deviations.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation required for GMP manufacture.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Build strong working relationships that encourage teamwork.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or Level 5 equivalent).
• 4-6 years experience in medical device or cleanroom manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and computer literacy.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• High dexterity and consistency required.
• Training/knowledge transfer skills required.
• Possible dexterity assessment during interview.
