Senior Production Operator - Athenry - Weekend Shift

Position

MA3 (Senior Production Operator)

Start Date: July 2026. Reports to: Production Supervisor. Shift Details: 12-hour shifts 4-on / 3-off - 3-on / 4-off pattern Friday to Sunday + alternate Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines, including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of Dexcom's CGM products.
• Carry out routine manual tasks such as handling components, loading materials, and supporting assembly processes as required.
• Perform material handling, inspections, quality checks, and data entry.
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in key areas.
• Train new associates and support cross training programmes.
• Support line leads and supervisors with communication, updates, and coaching.
• Comply with all quality procedures and flag any deviation noted.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation as required for the manufacture of medical devices (GMP requirements).
• Comply with all safety requirements and operate in a safe manner.
• Build strong working relationships that encourage teamwork and shared success.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (or Level 5 equivalent).
• 4-6 years of medical device or cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and computer literacy.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• High dexterity and consistency required.
• Training/knowledge transfer skills required.
• Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a dexterity assessment.
