JOB LOCATION: Brussels Belgium
DURATION: 12months + (Possibility for Extension)
WORK PATTERN: HYBRID Role (On-Site 2/3 Days a Week with Hybrid)
PAY RATE: Euros 500 EURO - Euros 550 EURO/Day (Negotiable)
LANGUAGES: English, French/Dutch Must
We are looking for a Product Owner for the Robotics and Automation cluster.
The preferred start date is ASAP and this is a long-term assignment, until the end of this year with the possibility of extension.
50% remote working (Candidates located in Belgium or willing to relocate!)
Mission Context:
The Customer servicing & Efficiency tribe enhances operational efficiency while elevating customer and employee experiences by delivering seamless remote interactions, highly automated workflows and processes, and robust fraud protection, all powered by technology and strategic collaborations.
The tribe Customer servicing and Efficiency' plays a key role in simplifying processes, strengthening trust, and enabling the business to focus on high-impact customer & employee value.
One of the Clusters of the tribe is dedicated to Automation/Robotics solutions (highly automated workflows) and manages a park of more than 200 bots within the different entities of the bank.
One of the squads within the cluster is dedicated to the delivery of new bots and looking for new cases within the bank (mining). We are looking for an experienced Product Owner' for this squad.
The Main Accountabilities of the Product Owner for this squad are:
The Product Owner represents both stakeholders and the voice of the customers capturing their expectations, preferences and aversions. As the bridge between stakeholders and IT, he/she'll turn strategic vision into actionable solutions, driving value creation in an Agile environment.
Along with the Scrum Master he/she embodies the Squad.
He/she is in charge of expressing and prioritizing the needs of the product using a Product Backlog.
You shape the future of your product with vision and strategy. You develop a deep understanding of your product, its market, and its customers. You define the strategy of your product based on market trends, user needs, data and the strategic direction of the bank.
The Agile Product Owner has to ensure the squad's perfect understanding of the product and the quarterly goals, sprint goals and this consistency every Sprint.
Design Phase and Project Methodology:
build the product's big picture (product vision/story telling) including its roadmap and translate this picture towards the squad and stakeholders
clarify the needs and draft (with the cluster Product Owner) the product's Objectives key results (OKR's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
iteration planning and definition of priorities to ensure the proper content delivery
defines the priorities and monitor the Product Backlog, thus he continuously prioritizes the key business needs
make sure that the different stakeholders become and stay aligned on the product to be delivered (by using the dedicated Agile ceremonies)
Project Follow-Up and Support:
initiate a priority management approach, ensure the product consistency and quality
actively participate into Scrum ceremonies (agile retrospectives, sprint reviews, refinement ceremonies, product boards)
is the decision maker or has the authority to arbitrate on delivered functionalities (act as a Captain of the squad)
conduct Sprints Backlog live adjustments and follow-up
align with the product tribes to funnel the backlog

- An analyst involved in Agile projects must have the "Agile mindset" which implies:

- thirst for knowledge: Agile is about learning and adapting. Knowledge sharing is key to success.
- The goal of team success: Agile is about the success of the team, no individual success or heroic behaviour. It is more important for the team to succeed than for the individual to have completed his/her tasks.
- There is no failure, only feedback: Agile is about taking everything as lessons, adjusting actions based on the feedback, resulting in continuous improvement.
- Beyond the roles: Agile teams are cross-functional. All required disciplines are represented in the team (analysis, development, testing, ).
- However, although team members have a primary role representing a discipline, they are expected to take on other roles and contribute to other disciplines whenever it helps towards reaching the sprint goal.
