About the Role

As the Product Manager for RDS in EMEA, you'll be the strategic force behind our data driven risk assessment solutions. You'll connect customer needs with technological possibilities, translating market opportunities into product features that deliver real value. Your vision will shape how insurers across Europe leverage our platform to make smarter decisions.

Key Responsibilities

You'll develop and execute the go to market strategy for RDS products across EMEA, identifying opportunities and creating plans to capture them. Working closely with customers, you'll shape our product roadmap based on their feedback and evolving needs, prioritizing features that maximise value and satisfaction.

Your strategic mind will analyse the competitive landscape, identifying our unique differentiators and positioning our products effectively. Through collaboration with data and distribution partners, you'll integrate their capabilities into our solutions and leverage these relationships to enhance our offerings.

As part of a global team, you'll ensure synergy with the global product roadmap by working closely with the RDS Product leadership team and other market product managers, facilitating cross functional collaboration to achieve our shared goals.

The Risk Data Services (RDS) team develops innovative data driven solutions that transform how insurers assess and manage risk. We combine advanced analytics, AI technology, and deep industry expertise to create products that provide unprecedented insights into catastrophe modelling, property assessment, and risk quantification. Our collaborative team spans multiple disciplines and regions, united by our mission to make the world more resilient through better risk intelligence.

About You

You're a strategic thinker with a passion for product excellence and a talent for translating complex technical capabilities into clear business value. You thrive in collaborative environments and excel at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Your communication skills allow you to articulate technical concepts to business audiences, while your commercial instincts help you identify and capitalise on market opportunities.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Several years of product management experience, preferably in insurance or technology sectors.
  • Proven experience developing go to market strategies and product roadmaps based on customer needs.
  • Strong ability to conduct competitive analysis and define product positioning.
  • Experience collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and commercial teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating product vision to diverse stakeholders.

These are additional nice to haves:

  • MBA or equivalent business training.
  • Experience with AI technologies and their applications in product development.
  • Familiarity with catastrophe risk modelling workflows and insurance products.
  • Knowledge of Swiss Re and RDS tools/platforms (e.g., RDS data pipelines & APIs, CatNet ).
  • Experience leading workshops and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Background in metrics driven decision making and agile practices.

For London, the base salary range for the Product Manager position is between GBP 60,000 and GBP 90,000 (for a full time role). The base salary range for the Senior Product Manager is between GBP 90,000 and GBP 134,000 (full time).

The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
