Role OverviewAs a Senior Product Manager II, you will lead a new category of active hearables, owning the product from concept to market success. You will collaborate with design, engineering, manufacturing, and digital PMs to bring a physical product that changes how people hear their world. This hands on role is onsite 3-4 days a week, focused on hardware and firmware, but also includes the companion app experience.
Your Responsibilities- Define the product vision using customer insights, market data and technical trends.
- Build the business case and roadmap to guide development and align stakeholders.
- Lead trade off decisions across hardware, firmware, app and operations.
- Anticipate late stage challenges (regulatory compliance, UX iteration, feature trade offs) and manage resolution.
- Set success metrics and use them to track impact and guide improvements.
- Communicate strategy and updates clearly across all levels.
- Mentor other PMs and contribute to the evolution of Loop's product management craft.
- 8+ years in product management, ideally in consumer electronics, hearables or connected hardware.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven experience delivering 0 1 connected hardware products (hardware + firmware + app).
- Experience managing late stage complexity - feature trade offs, regulatory readiness, UX iteration.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding to support business decisions.
- Clear track record of cross functional leadership and stakeholder alignment.
- Consumer centric mindset - ability to balance desirability, feasibility and viability.
