Senior Product Manager, Data
Posted 3 hours 58 minutes ago by Proximie Limited
Proximie is on a mission to improve healthcare by transforming the world's operating rooms into connected ecosystems of people, devices, and data.
Our Intelligence Suite transforms operating room (OR) performance, keeping teams in sync and workflows on track to maximise throughput. Simultaneously our computer vision and AI capabilities capture real-time data and detect surgical events - improving quality of data outputs. The result: ORs are optimised like never before - with predictive analytics and automated notifications ensuring patients and staff are in the right place at the right time.
Once practitioners are in the OR, our Surgical Suite enables real-time remote access and creates a secure video record of every procedure; improving training, education, and collaboration. It is an intuitive asset which helps instil a culture of continuous learning, accelerates the adoption of cutting-edge medical devices, and enhances surgical performance across the entire global workforce - improving outcomes and saving lives.
Proximie was commercialised in 2019 and is available in over 500 facilities globally.

Position OverviewOur Intelligence Suite captures real-time surgical data and OR performance metrics, while our Surgical Suite creates a secure video record of every procedure - together generating one of the richest and most clinically detailed operating room datasets in existence.
We are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our "Data as a Product" initiative - the effort to turn that asset into a commercially valuable, externally-facing product line. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of data strategy, product commercialisation, and healthcare market development.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Proximie's data products: from defining the value proposition and monetisation model, through to partnering with data science, engineering, and commercial teams to bring those products to market. You will work closely with business development, sales, and marketing to help external buyers understand and act on the unique insight Proximie's OR data can provide.
Reporting to the Director of Product based in London, this is a rare opportunity for a product leader who combines deep data product expertise with genuine commercial instinct, and who wants to build something meaningful in healthcare at scale.
Responsibilities- Define and own the strategic roadmap for Proximie's "Data as a Product" portfolio, balancing trade-offs between data scale, depth, cleanliness, and commercial usability to ensure what we build is technically credible and market-ready.
- Lead the development of Proximie's data monetisation strategy, defining the right commercial models for different buyer segments including data licensing, analytics subscriptions, and embedded analytics partnerships - and work with business development, sales, and pricing teams to bring them to market.
- Partner with data science, machine learning, and engineering teams to shape feasible, high-quality data products, translating market requirements into clear specifications and ensuring delivery is aligned to commercial milestones.
- Define and validate value propositions for priority buyer segments - including medical device manufacturers, pharma and life sciences companies, healthcare providers, and insurers - ensuring product development is always anchored in genuine commercial demand.
- Act as a senior voice on data commercialisation internally, and represent Proximie with credibility externally in conversations with prospective data partners and customers.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in healthtech, analytics, or AI/ML.
- Demonstrable experience building data products that generate revenue, including working with business development, sales, and marketing teams on pricing intangible products and supporting commercialisation.
- Deep understanding of different data monetisation models, including but not limited to data licensing, insight/analytics subscriptions, and embedded analytics for partners.
- Ability to define and validate clear value propositions for different buyers such as OEMs, insurers, providers, medtech, and pharma businesses. Understanding of healthcare operations and performance metrics (OR utilisation, revenue cycle, care quality) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-maker.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with data science, machine learning, and engineering teams to shape feasible products.
- Knowledge and experience of clinical, operational, and economic value drivers in hospitals.
- Good understanding of operating room workflows, stakeholders, and data sources.
- Good understanding of how medical device manufacturers and pharma companies use real-world data.
- Ability to translate raw OR data into actionable insights that matter commercially.
- You will be encouraged to grow in your role, take ownership and gain responsibilities. Proximie's values are Ownership, Deliver Results, Build Trust and Go Beyond.
- Generous annual leave.
- Two "well-being" days per year plus the day off for your birthday.
- "Summer Fridays" - early office closing on Fridays during summer months.
- Annual bonus programme - based on individual contribution.
- To support your professional growth, all permanent employees will have access to an annual stipend of $1,000 to assist with personal development activities.
- Flexible working hours - we trust our people to manage their time and to focus on wider results.
- A flat organizational structure where every opinion matters, ideas are cultivated, and innovation is encouraged.
- Proximie is a truly global company with teams across the UK, Europe, United States and the Middle East with that you will have opportunities to see the world.
