UpSlide is the number one productivity solution provider for financial services. Our software dramatically improves the functionality of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Power BI and enables users at firms like Citi, KPMG, and BNP Paribas to focus on high-value tasks rather than formatting or copy-pasting. The team

Get ready to dive into our dynamic Product Team, led by our CPO and backed by a talented crew including 1 Head of Product, 3 Product Managers, 1 Technical Product Manager, 2 creative Product Designers, and 2 Product Marketing Managers. Each PM works with a squad (5 developers per squad). You will be taking over our Financial Advisory squad and working closely with Romain, the Tech Lead of this team.

This squad is strategic for UpSlide. It owns our users' must-loved and most-used features such as:

  • Excel-PowerPoint link - recently improved with an Excel Link Manager to manage charts and tables updates for Financial Services Professionals
  • PowerPoint formatting - recently improved with a dedicated toolbar
Your responsibilities
  • Product discovery (40%)
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user pain points, behaviors, and needs. Lead customer interviews, surveys, and usability tests to validate assumptions.

  • Product strategy (20%)
  • Build and nurture your product vision based on data from users, your team, data analysis, competitors, market trends, and industry best practices. Turn that into a strategy and a well-thought roadmap to ensure we build the right features. Communicate the strategy to stakeholders and the team. Explore expanding Upslide AI capabilities within your scope.

  • Product delivery (40%)
  • Work closely with product designers and developers to address user pain points and ensure we build the right feature. Turn the roadmap into a backlog of user stories, prioritize work, and explain rationale to stakeholders and the team. Ensure shipped products are bug-free and provide other teams with materials to understand and roll out features.

Pay and benefits: The annual salary package for this role in Paris is €60,000 - €80,000. This salary range is inclusive of several career levels at UpSlide and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

You are a great fit if :

  • You have +5 years of work experience
  • At least a first experience in product management
  • You are detailed-oriented and want to build a productivity tool used daily by thousands of users
  • You master the tools and processes to run this flow: user feedback, mock-ups, EPICs, user stories
  • You handle ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in a prioritized and structured way
  • You have great written and verbal communication skills in English and French
  • You have a genuine interest in AI and how to deploy it on products used daily
  • You are familiar with Microsoft 365 (we build on it)

  • You experienced the pain of building perfect slides or Excel models in a previous job
  • You've worked in Financial Services or Banking
  • You have previous experience as an AI PM
