JOB ROLE

To collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Procurement Category Teams, and in-market Procurement Managers and lead End to End Source to Contract projects, including preparing and running sourcing events and negotiations/renegotiations of contract clauses. The Procurement Senior Specialist will perform Procurement activities in line with Global Procurement Operating Model.

We are looking for a professional with various Procurement experience to join the following categories:

  1. Clinical Trials
  2. Clinical Data
TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Collaborate with Procurement category/in-market teams in sourcing and contracting strategies implementation delivering category targets and savings targets.
  2. Know and apply Procurement Processes and Tools in daily work and actively participate in the Source to Contract process simplification, improvement, and optimization.
  3. Have category knowledge to independently drive the S2C process, understand the category/SET area specifics, business needs, and priorities and apply them to the work.
  4. Advise Stakeholders about Sourcing events and Contract types.
  5. Drive End to End S2C process independently.
  6. Support market research activities by issuing RFI, manage sourcing projects, and conduct e-auctions.
  7. Analyze received proposals, make recommendations for supplier selection, and prepare summary reports.
  8. Drive Contracting process, including advising on the right template or contracting approach, ensuring contract renewals and leading new contracts creation.
  9. Enhance relations with Global Category Leaders and business stakeholders ensuring high standards and ability to connect and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the globe.
  10. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and improve the usage of procurement tools.
  11. Actively use opportunities to work across the teams.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
  1. University degree preferred.
  2. At least 2 years of work experience in the procurement department.
  3. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Very good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  5. Good presentation skills: knows best practices and can adjust content to the audience.
  6. Strong relationship and business partnering skills.
  7. Experience with End to End Source to Contract process.
  8. Excellent Project Management skills.
  9. Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
  10. Flexibility and fast adaptation to changing environment.
  11. Time management and prioritization skills.
  12. Strong team player able to collaborate with stakeholders from different cultures.
  13. "Can do attitude."
DESIRABLE
  1. Knowledge of Procurement tools (i.e. Coupa).
  2. Experience in negotiating commercial terms and contract clauses.
  3. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
  4. Previous experience in R&D procurement, biotechnology, or clinical trials background.
  5. Additional language would be a benefit but not a must.
