Senior Process Scientist

At Regeneron, we use science and innovation to develop life changing medicines for people with serious diseases. We are currently seeking a Senior Process Scientist to join our Process Sciences team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver process solutions to IOPS and generate outstanding laboratory and process validation report packages.
• Determine the root cause(s) of process related deviations using scientific, data driven rationale.
• Participate in and lead cross functional teams to investigate process issues in both technical and laboratory settings.
• Issue knowledge base reports summarizing conclusions of studies, investigations, and process improvements.
• Support technology transfer initiatives as a subject matter expert.
• Provide audit and regulatory submission support where applicable.
• Work optimally and efficiently in a team oriented environment.
• Present findings at group and interdepartmental meetings.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Statistics/Mathematics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
• Experience in a biopharmaceutical setting is desirable.
• Strong logical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to influence a non technical audience and to work well in a team environment.
