Senior Process Engineer

Job Title: Chartered Chemical Engineer on a 6 month contract - Degree-qualified BSc or equivalent engineer with proven process/manufacturing experience

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Role:

Lead the Process Engineering function and responsible for the design, implementation, control, and optimisation of industrial processes to enhance safety, efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.

Required Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Focus on commissioning and validation of 2 distillation columns, and compliance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge practically and theoretically of the chemical process, control and safety systems
• Leading HAZOPs, FMEA, and other risk assessment processes
• NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely qualification

Outside IR35 - day rate negotiable - experience dependant

Mid October start - full time on site
