Group Audit serves as Deutsche Bank's independent Third Line of Defense, proactively assisting the bank's business and infrastructure areas to identify control weaknesses. You will work within the Treasury audit team, responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality, value-added audit reports for a portfolio of Treasury and 2nd line Treasury Risk activities, meeting the requirements of the Deutsche Bank Board and regulators.

Your key responsibilities
  • Lead and execute day-to-day operational audit work, focusing on liquidity risk management, capital management, and interest rate risk in banking book.
  • Plan audits by documenting process flows, identifying risks, and key controls; attend stakeholder meetings as required.
  • Draft high-quality audit reports for management review, track issues, validate and approve issue closures.
  • Review and advise on stakeholder action plans, aiding in developing robust remediation strategies.
  • Complete all audit work within budgets, including ad hoc projects and investigations.
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution or relevant work experience.
  • Professional risk or accounting qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACA, FRM, CIA) are advantageous.
  • Audit experience in financial services, especially Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Funding, ALM, Funds Transfer Pricing, or related fields; experience outside audit with Treasury/Treasury Risk expertise is also considered.
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills.
