TheOpportunity

We are partnering with a leadingUK main contractor, renowned for delivering high-profile, complex projectsacross sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, andinfrastructure. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured andupcoming work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Pre-ConstructionManager to play a pivotal role in shaping and securing future projects.

This is a strategic position where you will leadthe pre-construction function on major bids, some in excess of £100m, workingclosely with clients, consultants, and internal delivery teams to developwinning solutions.

The Role

As aSenior Pre-Construction Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage the full pre-constructionlifecycle from initial enquiry through to contract award
  
• Oversee bid strategy, programme development,and cost planning in collaboration with estimating teams
  
• Engage with clients to understand key drivers,ensuring tailored and competitive submissions
  
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams includingdesign, commercial, and operational stakeholders
  
• Drive innovation, value engineering, and riskmanagement throughout the bid process
  
• Mentor and develop junior members of thepre-construction team
  
• Ensure governance, compliance, and qualitystandards are consistently met
  

About You

• Proven experience in a senior pre-constructionor bid leadership role within a main contractor.
  
• Strong track record of winning and deliveringlarge-scale projects (£50m - £100m+)
  
• Excellent commercial awareness and technicalunderstanding of construction methodologies
  
• Exceptional stakeholder management andcommunication skills
  
• Ability to lead, influence, and inspire teamsin a fast-paced environment
  
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) inConstruction Management, Engineering, or a related field
