We are looking to appoint a permanent Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist on either a part time or job share basis, enabling you to balance this role with your personal commitments and/or consultancy based work.
Responsibilities- Provide a wide range of educational psychological services to schools, families and the wider community.
- Supervise and support staff, particularly those in the early stages of their career.
- Support the leadership team with systemic opportunities that arise in the borough.
- Lead on workstreams or areas of research and develop expertise in chosen professional interests.
- Engage in regular quality supervision and shared team learning to promote professional practice.
- Honours degree in Psychology (or equivalent) recognised by the British Psychological Society.
- Recognised postgraduate training and a qualification in Educational Psychology.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Awarded three SPAs (or equivalent in private practice).
Applicants must have a driving licence and be a car owner; reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled applicants. A DBS check and a pre employment medical check are required. The role requires fluency in English as outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers.
