Senior Planner (Hybrid)

Search is proud to be partnering with a leading Glasgow-based organisation to recruit a Senior Planner. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career, joining a growing team where progression to Team Leader is the natural next stage.

You'll join a team of four planners, supporting and delegating tasks while driving efficiency and maintaining service excellence. This is a newly expanded contract, ideal for someone with strong leadership potential and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

The Role

This is a varied and dynamic position where you'll act as the main point of contact between customers, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend client and management meetings to report on workload progress.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
  • Plan and coordinate the daily workload of engineering teams.
  • Schedule and prioritise work to meet SLA and KPI targets.
  • Collaborate with admin teams to manage parts orders and minimise downtime.
  • Analyse weekly reports to reduce outstanding work orders and improve performance.
  • Provide technical and coordination support to engineers and service desk staff.
  • Liaise with client bureaus to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
  • Handle calls, monitor shared inboxes, and manage general departmental administration.
  • Demonstrate leadership and stakeholder management skills with readiness to progress.

  • Experience in a planning, scheduling, or coordination role.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Pattern

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm). Hybrid working available
