Job Description
A UK tier 1 main contractor is looking to add a Senior Planner to the team. Covering the Tayside region, this permanent position offers the opportunity to work on various projects and industries, with clear progression to further develop your career. What's in it for you?

- Coordinating and assisting in the preparation and presentation of bid appraisal material for regional Board settlement and Client presentations / interviews.
- Assuming an auditing role across live sites as appropriate for planning and programming and provide regular updates on risks to the Planning Manager and Operations teams.
- Assisting in the preparation of delay analysis scenarios and collation of reports, in conjunction with Project Management Teams.
- Assisting in the development of planning procedures including regional protocol for bid and construction stage planning, programme control and reporting.
- Assisting in the compilation and updating of regional and Group project databases containing project information, including as-built data, and make available as an internal resource for future programming.
- Engaging in the development of planning software solutions to meet business needs, including 4D BIM
- Deputising for the Planning Manager at site and other team meetings.
- Providing coaching and development input to others to enable performance and capability development
- Providing peer reviews and appraising perceived project risks
- Significant experience in tenders and contracts administered under JCT and NEC forms of contract.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts, and work as a team member
- Demonstratable ability to solve problems in a customer focused manner.
- The ability to independently maintain programmes and other time related material
- The ability to collaborate with the Digital Team to identify and develop new systems and continuous improvement in the use of digital technologies and applications
