Senior Pharmacist

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Senior Pharmacist to our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Specified Purpose contract with flexible working options: 35 hours over 5 days or 32 hours over 4 days (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Accepting written prescriptions or refill requests from patients and evaluating information for completeness and accuracy.
• Recording medical histories while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Delivering quality customer service to patients, responding to inquiries, questions, or requests, and referring them to the pharmacist for medical information.
• Verifying the accuracy of patient information.
• Counting prescription medication, filling prescriptions, and typing and attaching medication labels.

Requirements

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Minimum 3 years of post registration Hospital Pharmacy experience.
• Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy.
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Eligible to practice as a Hospital Pharmacist in Ireland.
