Come join our dynamic team at WTW as we are hiring for Senior Pensions Administrators - Projects for our Redhill location. In this role, you will provide support to existing senior associates with the production of pension increases, benefit statements, administration reports, monthly reporting, and testing of automated calculation solutions. You would be running and managing large projects successfully, maintaining existing reporting requirements, and ensuring that full system automation is achieved.

The Role

  1. In conjunction with the Team Leader, ensure that all delivery promises and performance standards are achieved.
  2. Escalate problems and cases to the Team Leader.
  3. Be a point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases.
  4. Challenge procedures to identify process improvements and pass on recommendations to the Team Leader.
  5. Check and challenge the basis of work performed by junior associates and ensure that the requested work has been undertaken.
  6. Coach and mentor junior associates on errors made to explain and prevent reoccurrence and hold regular feedback sessions.
  7. Identify associate training needs and raise with the Team Leader, proposing solutions where appropriate.
  8. Identify performance issues and raise with the Team Leader.
  9. Monitor own projects and that of junior associates via the Team Planner to ensure agreed target dates are achieved.
  10. Take responsibility for the development of the homepage and precedent documents.
  11. Produce test packs for automation, test, and sign off calculations for DB and DC members.
  12. Assist in due diligence exercises, analyzing data quality, identifying data issues, and proposing solutions.
  13. Monitor and manage data cleaning requirements and assist in large mailing projects to members.
  14. Scope costs for projects outside of business as usual and monitor spend versus budget.
  15. Handle complaint management.
  16. On a daily basis, be the main contact for an agreed list of projects and maintain and develop client relationships.
  17. Work with the Team Leader to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, e.g., automation and full use of standard products.
  18. Provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client/members' needs and promote the WTW brand.
Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes.
  • Experience of coaching and supporting less experienced associates.
  • Experience of working on projects is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Customer and quality-focused.
  • Computer literate with experience in using Excel spreadsheets.
