Job Details: Senior Payroll Administrator - Cardiff

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our team in Cardiff. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with clients to maintain employee data and deliver excellent service.
  2. Manage payroll processing, RTI filing, pension uploads, and report generation.
  3. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
  4. Prepare month-end journals and reports for audit and financial purposes.
  5. Oversee CIS submissions.
  6. Train and supervise junior payroll staff.
Key Requirements
  1. Experience managing payroll for multiple clients, preferably in a professional services environment.
  2. Ability to produce accurate payroll reports and documents.
  3. Excellent communication skills to explain complex payroll concepts clearly.
  4. Strong attention to detail and efficiency.
Additional Requirements
  1. Knowledge of HMRC legislation and pension auto-enrolment.
  2. Understanding of data protection laws related to payroll.
  3. Proficiency in payroll software; familiarity with BrightPay is desirable.
