Senior Payroll Administrator - Leeds - National Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting on the behalf of a leading, national facilities management organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their growing HR function based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and alongside another Payroll professional, you'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately, compliantly, and on time every month. This role forms part of a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days on site and 2 days at home.

Package
  • Competitive salary up to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
  • Processing end-to-end monthly payroll
  • Managing starters, leavers, salary changes, and back pay calculations
  • Administering statutory payments including SSP and other absence-related pay
  • Supporting pension administration and payroll reconciliations
  • Processing timesheet data and validating hours worked
  • Assisting with TUPE-related payroll activity
  • Handling payroll queries from employees and managers
  • Liaising with payroll system providers to resolve technical issues
  • Supporting audits and producing payroll reports when required
  • Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
Requirements
  • Relevant CIPP qualifications or BA Hons degree (if applicable)
  • Previous end-to-end payroll processing experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience dealing with hourly and salaried payrolls, with an understanding of statutory payments, pensions and absence management
  • Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
  • Strong communication skills and confidence handling payroll queries
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
