About the role

Are you passionate about driving organisational change and enabling people to thrive? The University of Leicester is seeking an experienced Senior Organisational Development Advisor to join our dynamic HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver impactful development initiatives that support our strategic vision and empower our diverse community.

As a Senior Organisational Development Advisor, you will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative staff and organisational development solutions. Working closely with senior leaders and HR partners, you'll provide expert advice and partner with departments to identify needs and implement strategies that enhance performance and engagement across the University.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and facilitating development programmes, workshops, and blended learning solutions aligned to organisational priorities.
  • Acting as an OD partner to designated areas, supporting leaders with organisational development needs.
  • Leading initiatives such as induction programmes, leadership development, and operational excellence projects.
  • Contributing to coaching and mentoring activities through our Coaching and Mentoring Academy.
  • Building strong relationships across the University and with external providers to deliver high quality outcomes.
About you
  • A degree (preferably in organisational/occupational psychology) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in organisational development or a related field within a large, complex organisation.
  • Expertise in designing, delivering, and evaluating development interventions at individual, team, and organisational levels.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching (ILM Level 5 or equivalent), and influencing skills.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
